Geneuille 21/10/2026

I fancied a bit of a change today and didn't want to go too far as it was going to rain and my head was buzzing like a fridge. Geneuille is quite close and always gives me the impression of the potential of some big tiny bird from the East. Nothing really of note, though it was nice to see four Coots and a Great Crested Grebe since they're noticeably lacking from Pagney! A good few Dunnocks, Chiffchaffs, small flocks of Siskins, a Redwing or two and Robins everywhere made me feel like anything was possible - of course there was bugger all.

With a good bit of imagination, this Dunnock could be a rare bunting or something!
